Brian Lessard, President
Brian is a third-generation builder with 25 years experience developing
commercial properties and building custom homes in Delaware, Maryland and
other Mid-Atlantic states. After
working with his father at Addie Lessard & Sons, Inc. for 18 years,
first as a carpenter and then as a Partner and Co-owner, Brian started
his own construction company, Lessard Builders Inc. (also known as LBI
and LBI Construction).
Brian is actively involved on each project and works closely with the
architects, engineers, subcontractors, local government agencies, and
any other entity whose performance is critical to the timely completion
of a project. Brian is one of the original founders, designers and
developers of the only Catholic high school in southern Delaware, Saint
Thomas More Academy. Currently, he is a board member of Saint Thomas
More and Harvest Years, a senior citizen center in Dover.
J. Paul Jones, P.E., Engineering Project Manager
Paul is a professional engineer with over 25 years of experience. At LBI, he
oversees the company's land development projects as they progress through the
various stages of design and approval. Prior to joining LBI in 2004, Paul worked
11 years at Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control
(DNREC) and 14 years in private practice consulting.
Positions within the DNREC varied with an increasing level of responsibility
in both the NPDES and Hazardous Waste programs. Private practice experience
includes involvement and/or oversight of various water, wastewater, air program
related projects for industry as well as local and county governments.
In July 2005 Paul was elected to a second four year term on the Delaware
Association of Professional Engineers (The Delaware Engineering Licensing Board).
In the past he has also served on the Board of the Delaware Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC/DE).
Eric Tierson, Director of Operations, LBI Construction, LLC
Eric joined LBI in May 2005 as Director of Operations of LBI Construction, LLC. He brings
18 years of commercial and residential construction experience.
Eric began his career in 1988 at Kent Construction in Smyrna, Delaware where he
was involved in all aspects of commercial construction projects. In 1991, he joined
Angersteins and was responsible for bidding commercial projects, contractor sales,
and working with clients to ensure the proper flow and symmetry of the interior
finish for each project. While at Angersteins, Eric attained a vast knowledge base
in commercial and residential building products. In 2004, he joined M.C.S., a custom
home builder in Lewes, Delaware, as the Construction Director. Eric oversaw all
projects and worked closely with each client to ensure that their vision for the
project was achieved.
Eric has provided superior customer service to clients for years. He truly enjoys
working with clients firsthand and ensuring that each project is completed on time
and to the customer's satisfaction.
