Agave is absolutely one of the hottest food stops of coastal Delaware! This Mexican restaurant and tequila bar crafts up all their artisan recipes and drinks from scratch; using the freshest ingredients every single day. Trust us, whether you’re stopping by for a quick cocktail or a full meal their menu is off-the-charts delicious. Agave boasts over 70 varieties of tequila, about a half-dozen utterly delicious guacamole flavors to sample, and an entree menu that is stacked with 5-star recipes. All Climate Storage Center
18244 Showjumper Lane, Lewes DE
What can we say, our model home is one of our favorite places to visit in Coastal DE. The three-story home is decorated with a quaint Nantucket theme and is decked out with a three car garage, butlers pantry, home office, second floor bonus space and a full basement with wet bar and yoga room. This 6,000+ square foot beauty is an example of what we at Lessard Builders do best- combine functional innovation with beauty. A member of our team is here 7 days a week so head on over and come explore The Saltaire!
Crooked Hammock Brewery
36707 Crooked Hammock Way, Lewes DE
The Crooked Hammock is an incredible new addition to the Delaware beach scene. Built in late 2015, this restaurant and beer garden mashup are a great place for a meal and a drink. The Hammock brews roughly a dozen of their own (delicious) beers and in our opinion makes some of the best burgers this side of the Mississippi! The restaurant also has a huge outdoor section with corn-hole boards, rocking chairs and ping pong tables which make it a great place for relaxing on a sunny day. Crooked Hammock is definitely one of our favorite beach watering holes.
Arena’s Deli and Bar
17314 N. Village Main Blvd, Lewes DE
A Lessard lunch favorite! Arena’s was founded by a group of Delawareans over a decade ago with the idea of being a deli where all food made fresh in house. Their sandwich menu and appetizers are truly a delight for hungry beachgoers. ‘The Betty’ is one of the most delicious takes on grilled cheese that we have ever eaten, their ‘Hungry Kayaker’ sandwich is incredible with turkey and roast beef that tastes fresh out of the oven every single time and their Cajun Chicken Cheesesteak just plain rocks. Oh, and one last thing, go for the mozzarella sticks.
Cape Henlopen State Park
15099 Cape Henlopen Drive
Cape Henlopen State Park website
Public beaches- check. Camping grounds- check. Fishing pier- check. Hiking trails- check. Scenic views- check. Minutes from the boardwalk- check. If you like to be outdoors, consider checking out Cape Henlopen State Park ASAP; it is one of the East Coast’s truest gems and one of Delaware’s best places to enjoy some sunshine! There are so many beautiful sights and incredible places to explore that we could never do Cape Henlopen justice. This vast state park was once home to a military installation, so it’s also full of barracks and history for history buffs. It is also just a one or two minute drive from the Cape May Lewes Ferry.
